One:
Congratulations on your decision to alter your weight pattern. I use the
word pattern because it is just that exact. Your body and metabolism
function unfailingly to keep your pattern intact. This is why weight
adjustment using calorie counting or diet plans ultimately fail. You can
succeed in reducing weight by exerting an enormous amount of will power
and persistence over time. Yet the moment you believe you have arrived at
your goal and relax the program, the body pattern takes you right back to
where you started. If you repeatedly use the diet program, the body
pattern reacts to what it perceives as starvation and will even add more
weight by adjusting your metabolism lower, making it harder than ever to
lose weight.
The weight adjustment pattern resides in the unconsciousness part of your
mind. It sets your body’s desire for foods, determines what you will eat
and how much, decides your digestion and utilization of what you eat, and
the metabolic rate of your body and the amount of energy stored for future
use.
As you begin to understand that your weight pattern works to keep
homeostatic balance in your body by altering your eating habits and
metabolism, you will realize the futility of conventional weight reduction
programs. The only effective and permanent approach to weight adjustment
is re-programming the pattern for your desired, ideal weight.
Changing your pattern will require time and persistence on your part, but
the amount of personal will power will be greatly reduced by regular use
of band two on this CD and the suggestions you will soon hear. You will
gain faster results by using it daily for the first 60 days. If you have a
pillow speaker, let band two play while you sleep. Do not play this CD
while driving or operating machinery at any time.
You will assist your inner work greatly by setting an intention to make a
small change every day in your pattern. On awakening in the morning, tell
yourself, “I desire to make a small reduction today in my weight pattern.
I will do this easily and without any stress. I know my body will assist
me in making this small reduction.”
In the evening send a message your body and thanking it for making the
small reduction in the weight pattern. Write your thanks in a small
notebook. Writing carries the message into your unconscious mind where the
weight body pattern resides and operates.
Begin thinking of your body weight pattern as your friend and ally in
building and maintaining your health and satisfaction in life. Make it
your close friend and you will form an alliance that will result in
obtaining and retaining your ideal weight.
Do not weigh yourself until you have used this CD daily for 60 days, then
weigh once a month while continuing to use the suggestions and listening
to the CD daily. Listen to band one weekly to assure your self that you
are getting full use of this CD.
Now choose a place where you can sit without interruption for 60 minutes.
You will want to sit upright in comfortable chair without crossing your
arms or legs. When you have chosen the time and place, play tracktwo of
this CD.
Track two
Weight Adjustment Program
In your quiet location where you can be undisturbed for the next hour, sit
in your chosen chair. Adjust your position so that you feel comfortable.
Loosen any clothing so it is not binding you.
(two minutes)
Now pay some attention to your breathing. (one minute)
Just make a quiet mental note that your breath goes in and out with no
conscious effort on your part. It has a pattern of coming and going by
itself – automatically adjusting the frequency and the volume to suit your
body’s needs. You can interrupt this automatic pattern, but as soon as
your attention shifts elsewhere it goes back on automatic.
(One minute)
Sitting very quietly, listen for your pulse or gently place your fingers
where you can feel your heart beating. (two minutes) Your heart also
functions automatically with no conscious effort by you. The heart and the
lungs are operated by the unconscious part of your mind, making their own
adjustments in rate and volume by their own standards of what is best for
you.
(One minute)
Notice that you are becoming very quiet and relaxed.
(two minutes)
In this quiet state you are open and receptive to information and
suggestions that will inform you about the improvements you desire. These
suggestions will condition your unconscious mind and will become second
nature for you.
(one minute)
Almost everything about your life is controlled by the unconscious part of
your mind. Many people are not aware of the power and control of the
unconscious. They simply are unaware of its influence in the quality of
their life, the choosing of relationships, and the ways it manages
everything they do.
(90 seconds)
Your unconscious mind is setting and maintaining your body’s weight. It
prompts you about where, what, and how much to eat. It selects your food
and drinks to make your body weight pattern precise and exact.
(two Minutes)
Now we are going to begin a dialogue with your unconscious mind. This
conversation can open for you a wonderful adventure in making your most
cherished dreams become real.
(one minute)
There is no limitations on what your unconscious mind can create or
change. It is constantly working for your highest good. Your unconscious
pays attention to what you think and say, but also has its own agendas.
(one minute)
Now take a deep breath and as you release it, feel your body relaxing and
becoming more and more quiet. Gently tell yourself, “My mind and body is
quite quiet. I am relaxed and peaceful.”
(one minute)

Allow your quiet relaxation to go deeper and deeper.
(two minutes)
Go deeper and deeper.
(two minutes)
Let my voice become as your own voice. Allow my words to become your
words. Whatever I say, will be as though you yourself are speaking.
(30 seconds)
I am now speaking directly to my unconscious mind. I understand your
presence and power in creating my life patterns.
I request your assistance and participation in making subtle changes in my
life patterns. I believe and know that you can make these changes for me.
(39 seconds)
Please place the following words into my body weight pattern.
(thirty seconds between each following phrase.)
I achieve my perfect weight easily.
I accept myself just as I am and move toward who I want to be.
My perfect weight and perfect body are unfolding daily.
It is easy for me to love my body.
I do all things to perfectly maintain my body and my health.
I exercise to support perfect health and my ideal weight.
I eat only those foods that support perfect health and my ideal weight.
My mind is finely tuned to create perfect health and a perfect body.
My thoughts empower me to create perfect health and my ideal weight.
I am beautiful.
I maintain exercising and eating habits that support my perfect health and
my ideal weight.
I am slender and attractive.
I love to exercise.
Being slender and healthy for me is natural and effortless.
(Three minutes)
Thank you, my wonderful unconscious mind for assisting my life changes. I
trust you to cause theses changes to occur in such a gradual way that my
body is not stressed or shocked. Thank you for your help. I love and
appreciate you.
(two minutes)
Now, sit quietly. Imagine your ideal weight and the ways your life will be
improved as your unconscious creates these changes for you.
(five minutes)
Bring your attention back. Breathe deeply. Move your fingers and toes.
Open your eyes and be here now.
