Quit
Smoking CD - Let
your mind help you
There are two factors that make smoking one
of the hardest addictions to quit. The most obvious factor is the
physical addiction. Dr. Coop once said that tobacco addiction
was more persistent than cocaine. One track on this CD addresses the
physical addiction of tobacco.
The other, in my opinion equally insidious,
factor is what is called "cue smoking". The cues are things like,
finishing a meal, picking up the phone, and getting in your car. These are
physical activities that you have trained yourself, just like Pavlov's
dogs to respond to by lighting up. The other track on this addresses the
cue smoking.
You need this help! Why try to quit
again without moral self-support? This is about the price of one carton of
cigarettes.
Meditation is a practice that
allows you to connect to your subconscious mind. In today's
fast-paced world we are out of touch with our subconscious and sometimes barely in
control of our conscious mind. Often our thoughts are too busy and
our health, both mental and physical, is out of balance. The
meditation process "quiets" the conscious mind and allows you to find
peace with yourself. With more experience you may be able to achieve
specific results such as peace of mind, weight loss, abstinence from
addiction, improved sports performance, and
understanding past lives. Learning to meditate can take
years of practice trying to quiet your subconscious mind. Our guided
meditation CDs provide a way to more readily achieve the peace of
meditation.
This CD is scripted by Kay Hall

Hypnotherapy Association. She is also a member of the National Guild of
Hypnosis.
How to use a guided
meditation CD
Listening to a Meditations CD
once or twice a day for at least the first 3 weeks will increase the level
of your concentration and therefore increase your ability meditate and
achieve your goals. Remember relaxation is a skill that gets better with practice. Just
as with any physical sport or activity, the more you practice, the better
you are. A strong mental attitude is built in the same way physical
strength is gained-by repetition. Therefore the more you listen to this
CD, the easier it will be for you to relax, concentrate and improve your
ability to meditate and achieve your goal. Enjoy your journey.
