Different Guided Meditation Techniques
Guided meditation is seen by many people as a way to escape from the stresses of
the world. Many people use guided meditation to put their daily problems into
proportion and to find their inner-self and spirit. There are some people
that may use guided meditation as a calming device and some people that may use
it as a way to connect to their higher spiritual being. There are many
techniques of guided meditation that are used by people in order to achieve their
personal goals. Each person who practices guided meditation has his or her own
style of performing the exercise. He or she follows certain guidelines of
the technique that has been chosen. There are hundreds of guided
meditation
techniques that a person who is starting out in the guided meditation world can
choose from in order to achieve his or her own personal guided meditation goals.
There is the visualization of cellular healing technique, the 4-4-8
technique, and the 24 x 7 guided meditation technique.
The visualization of cellular healing technique was designed for people
who suffer from chronic pain or disease. This technique of guided
meditation was
developed in order to help people deal with this pain and try to heal
physically through a mental understanding of their disease or condition.
In order to perform a session of visualization of cellular healing
guided meditation, a person should first get into the guided meditation position that is
most comfortable for him or her. Once in the most comfortable position,
the person should direct the mind’s thoughts to visualize abnormal or sick
cells inside the body. The mind should then take these diseased cells and
mentally heal them, making them normal and healthy cells. The mind should
make these vibrant cells build and should visualize them reproducing. The
mind should concentrate on visualizing the whole body re-building and
becoming completely healthy and strong. While the person is breathing in
and out, he or she should concentrate on bringing in healing energy with
every breath and expelling negative and diseased energy.
The 4-4-8 guided meditation technique is a type of technique that is focused on
breathing. It was developed to help people who are meditating to
concentrate on their breathing in order to become more relaxed and calm
during a guided meditation session. A person who wants to have a 4-4-8
guided meditation
session should first find a comfortable meditating environment and
position. The person should then develop a breathing pattern. The
breathing pattern should consist of inhaling a breath for 4 units, holding
that breath in for 4 units and then exhaling that breath for 8 units. This
pattern of breathing should go on for 3 sets of 12 repetitions each. The
rhythm of the breathing soon becomes a second nature to the person
meditating. He or she can concentrate on the mind’s thoughts and the
breathing helps him or her to feel light and free.
The 24 x 7 guided meditation technique is a technique that engulfs people’s daily
lives. A person who commits to the 24 x 7 guided meditation technique has agreed
to make a lifestyle change that includes guided meditation as a part of his or
her daily life. In order to practice 24 x 7 guided meditation, a person must be
able to take several random moments out of his or her day to make a
complete physical check. During these physical checks, he or she should
check for physical tension and stress of the body. If this stress is
present, he or she should stop and take a few deep breaths and relax
before going back to daily tasks. A person who practices 24 x 7 guided
meditation
should also make it a point to witness his or her own actions and examine
them before reacting to a situation. The person should be able to control
his or her words and actions before they are performed or spoken. The
actions and words should be of a peace-bearing nature if they are to be
performed by the person. The 24 x 7 guided meditation technique can help a person
to think before he or she speaks and is sure that it is the right
reaction. This technique can also help a person to remember to relieve
stress during the day and not let it toll on the body.
